Dr. Joshua Nikkanen

Dr. Joshua Nikkanen graduated with an honours biology degree from the university of Ottawa, and his doctor of chiropractic degree from New York Chiropractic College. He is married to his beautiful wife Annie, and has a son Ezra. Dr. Josh, as his patients call him, has lived most of his life in the Newmarket area so starting his practice in Newmarket to serve the Newmarket, Aurora, Bradford and surrounding area was an easy decision to make.

Dr. Kristina Turkewitsch

Dr. Kristina graduated from CMCC in June 2016, and is now an associate chiropractor at Crossroads.  Dr. Kristina is trained in Thompson Technique and Webster.  She brings with her a strong passion for serving, and an amazing level of empathy.  Her desire is to see every person who comes to Crossroads reach their full God given potential.

Dr. Heather Elford

Dr. Heather Elford

Dr. Heather Elford ND is a Naturopathic Doctor and certified Doula with a passion for reproductive health, hormones, pregnancy, postpartum and paediatric health. Dr. Heather ND graduated from CCNM (The Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine) in 2023 earning The Governor’s Award of Excellence for the highest average in her graduating class, and completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Biology prior to her Naturopathic Studies. In her internship year at CCNM, Dr. Heather ND also completed a focus shift and additional training in paediatrics to better work with families on their health goals!
